Alyce, I still remember like yesterday, when your dad took you to the office. You were a few months old and still as beautiful. He said he was very proud of you. From then on, he kept being proud of you and always kept me up to date on your accomplishments. I say this to let you know that he loved you very much. We became very good friends. I love you as if you were my daughter. With all my heart, my condolences goes out to you and Sylvia and the rest of the family. I started working in the Dept on 10/26/75 and the Lord put me in your dad’s path as a divine appt for a purpose and that was to witness to him about Jesus. I am super happy he made a decision for Jesus after I prayed for him for so many years. The seed was planted and someone else cultivated it, Jesus never let go of his hand. Soon we will all meet in heaven and see him again. What a rejoicing time that will be.

From the depths of our hearts, we wish our condolences to Sylvia and the family. Juan was such a tremendous testimony for Christ and example of His love and kindness to everyone! Juan has always been a great inspiration to me personally. No matter what he was going through, he always repeated in everything, "God Is Always Good"! I am grateful for Him, his friendship and kindness! He will be greatly missed. I am also grateful Juan is no longer suffering any more, and, now is able to be with Christ and see his Lord and Savior face to face.
Our prayers and thoughts to Sylvia and to the whole family!!!

My most sincere condolences to Mrs. Sylvia Mejia, his children and the rest of his family. Johnny, as he was called in high school, was a classmate and graduate of the MHS Class of 1966 in Laredo, TX. I'll never forget his contagious smile and his friendliness. God saw that he was suffering and said: "No more." May he rest in peace in God's heavenly kingdom. Until we meet again, my friend.

I was saddened this morning to learn of the passing of my very dear friend Juan David Mejia. Johnny, as we used to call him, and I were close friends through high school and even years after. When he moved to the Valley we gradually lost contact, but that doesn't mean in any way that our friendship suffered. Friendships of that type are not diminished by distance. I have fond memories of our youth. Although we hadn't kept close contact I shall miss my friend. Rest in peace, Johnny.
