To the Family - we are all so sorry. Toni there is no way we can take away the sadness but I have to say Weldon changed the way I and many people look at life today. He will live on through many of us that were blessed to have known him. I was fortunate to meet and work with Weldon – he was the ultimate “Professional”. He worked as hard as anyone I have ever met in this Industry. When you worked with Weldon you threw away the clock. You may be leaving the Hotel at 5 AM and you may be lucky to eat Dinner at 8:30 PM. He never wasted your time. He planned your Market visits to maximize your time to see the most important customers – not so much for you but to help his customers maximize their opportunities with “you” the Manufacturer. Isn’t that really the way it should be. He was one of the best communicators I have ever worked with. He only asked the questions that you should have already provided the answers for. He knew his Manufacturers products top to bottom and he loved his customers and he loved to sell. He was the “Gentle Giant” that everyone wanted to be around. When he had his heart transplant many years ago you would think a person in that situation would be timid or afraid of what tomorrow would bring – not Weldon he worked twice as hard. He looked at life the way we all should – be grateful that you were able to see the sunrise – whenever I would see Weldon I would say Weldon “how are you doing ?” He would just say – “Joe grateful for another day”. If the “Professional” I just described meant that much to so people in the Industry there is absolutely no way to express the loss being felt by Weldon’s Family, especially Toni his wife and his Grandchildren that he loved so dearly. Weldon – we wish you well and thank you for being you – hopefully we too can understand that we all should be “grateful for another day.” We will all say a “Special Prayer” for a “Special Guy and his Family” Take Care, Joe C
