MAJOR STEVEN JOHN GUEVARA
FORT CAMPBELL KY - Major Steven John Guevara, 42, entered eternal rest Wednesday, August 18, 2021, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Steven was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He loved comics and collectibles, sports, and family adventures. Maj. Guevara always put family and friends above himself. He took Pride in his career as a Soldier in the United States Army, mentoring and caring for his fellow soldiers.
Major Guevara is survived by his wife, Rosa Y. Guevara; his two children, Eron L., and Arya L. Guevara; his parents, Leticia Viramontes Guevara, and Damian E. Guevara; two siblings, Damian, and Lizett M. Guevara; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Pharr with full military honors to follow.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
