Obituary of Nicole Victoria Gomez

NICOLE "NIKI" V. GOMEZ MCALLEN - Nicole "Niki" V. Gomez, 28, entered eternal sleep Saturday, January 30, 2021 in McAllen. Niki was preceded in death by grandfather, Manuel C. Gomez. Ms. Gomez is survived by her parents, Manuel and Clarissa Gomez, and mother, Yvette Gutierrez; her sister, Lauren Ashley Gomez; her maternal grandparents, Rosella Newman and Antonio Gutierrez; her paternal grandmother, Thelma A. Martinez Gomez; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 2219 Galveston Street in Laredo Texas. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Laredo. Live stream of the rosary (Sunday) will be on Legacy's website under Nicole's link (select "webcast" on the left) and the funeral mass (Tuesday) will be on Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Facebook Page. Family requests participation of the streaming to respect social distancing and spread of virus. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in her honor to causes dear to Niki which are Palm Valley Animal Society in Edinburg or Capable Kids Foundation Inc. Funeral service are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
