Edinburg- Celia M. Garcia, 76, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. She was life long resident of Edinburg and owned Celia's Collection for many years. Celia was preceded in death by her parents, Gonzalo and Maria Santos Martinez, a brother, Elias Martinez, and a sister, Helen Rocha. Celia is survived by two daughters, Emelinda Jackson of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Diana Garcia of McAllen; two sons, Jose Guadalupe Garcia Jr., of McAllen and Xavier Garcia of Edinburg; a brother Gonzalo Martinez Jr. of Edinburg; four sisters, Alta Ybarra of Quincy, Washington, Maria Hernandez of Edinburg, Petra Cantu of Palm Springs, California and Mina Hernandez of Edinburg. Visitation will be held today, July 24, 2012 from 3:00pm to 9:00pm with a 7:00pm Rosary at Legacy Chapels, 4610 S. Jackson Rd., Edinburg, Texas. A live webcast will be available for family and friends at www.legacychapelsrgv.com. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
