When I was sick with breast cancer, Tia would make atole and have my dad bring it to me. She knew I would have my chemo treatments on Fridays so she would remind my dad not to forget to pick it up from her house on his way home after working at Taco Fiesta. I remember it tasting so good. But what remember most was the love she put into making it. Loved my Tia. She was very caring and loving. I will truly miss her.
