Obituary of Santos M. Garza

ALAMO - Mr. Santos M. Garza, 81,  went to be with our Lord on Saturday, November 17, 2018 surrounded by his family at The Heights of Alamo Nursing Home Center in Alamo, Texas, where he was a resident for the past year.. Santos was born on September 24, 1937 in Los Fresnos, Texas to Santos Garza and Ignacia Ledesma Garza. Santos was a resident of of the Rio Grande Valley for many years. Santos truly lived his life to the fullest. Santos was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Julia Gonzalez Garza; his son, Gustavo Garza; eight siblings; numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Legacy Chapels, 4610 S. Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with the recital of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. A celebration of life service will be on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 10:00 am atLegacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
