So sorry ... my condolences to the family, I met Paulette in nursing school, at Pan Am, , she was a good friend!, enjoyed driving with her everyday to the mental health hospital during a summer class, she was funny, smart and she loved Robbie, we spent time as roommates for a few months until I married Craig and left with the the military....2 years we spent every day together studying nursing , I admired her so much, she was beautiful!...,very nice memories of her, Dr Pacheco, and Dr Reiland... I loved her and missed her dearly when I left the valley...we stayed in touch on Facebook...I will miss you , but know you are very happy and not hurting anymore, until I see you again!... loved your obsession of cleaning the windshield every day on our way to the state hospital!... and stopping at sonic for dinner on our way home!... so much fun!... wait for me in heaven , we will soon laugh and play together again. See you soon my friend....

I just heard recently of Paulette's passing. I grew up with Paulette, she was a year younger than me. I'm a first cousin. I was so sorry to hear of her passing, but have great wonderful memories of our times together. I, too, picture her in heaven with her mom and dad and sister. Prayers and condolences to the family.

Paulette was one of the first people I met when I moved to the Valley from MT. Her humor and kindness was what got me through the new world I found myself in. Her hugs were many, and her warm smile gave me strength.
I loved the way she walked through her life smiling and hugging everyone she met. Paulette will be missed by so many, thought of very often, and have many tears fall because she is no longer with us.
I hope you as her family know that she was as loved by so many as you loved her. I pray that she is with her Carlos, and very, very happy.

A sweet memory of Paulette:
After a DHR function at South Padre Island, celebration with music at Tequila Sunrise was in full swing; mostly coworkers and friends. Paulette with a soft drink in hand looked very happy watching the younger crowd dance and laugh loudly, she had that contagious smile and that glow in her eyes that lifted everybody’s spirits immediately. I asked her politely to join us and kinda forced her by taking her by both hands and as we approached the floor, the crowd went wild!!! They had never seen her dance, ever!!!!. As we all came back to our table, she whispered in my ear “You are crazy Oscar!, I never danced with anybody but Carlos in my life!” I smiled at her and replied “I’m sure he is as happy as you are right now just to see your having a great time, maybe he chose me as his rep tonight!, who knows?” She just laughed louder and gave one of her sweet hughs. She was so happy that night.
