I am so saddened to hear of Daniella’s passing. I was her mentor at Wynn Seale Middle School from 7th grade through her high school graduation. Daniella was a beautiful young woman and she will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to her family who she dearly loved and spoke about very often. My heart is breaking for Daniela's family and friends. Daniela was one of my first students when I started teaching at Miller HS when she was a senior. She was in my reading class and we worked so hard on getting her ready to pass her last STAAR test. A day didn't go by that she didn't work hard to improve her skills and in the end, it all paid off because she passed the test the next time she took it. How proud she was to show me her scores! I didn't get to have her very long in class, but our bond lasted until even now.
I will never forget how contagious her smile was or how warm her hugs were. A truly loving and giving soul has left us, but her memory will always remain within us. My deepest condolences and prayers go out to the family.
