CYNTHIA MADERO LEOS

PHARR - Cynthia Madero Leos, 54, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in McAllen surrounded by her family. Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, Ernesto and Maria Dolores Madero.

Cynthia, was born and raised in Mcallen along side her two brothers. Born into a Catholic family Cindy was a firm believer and someone who was strong and steadfast in her faith from early on. Cynthia being the oldest of the cousins, often babysat all the other younger cousins and developed close relationships in their very large Vela Family. At 22, Cynthia married the love of her life (Abiel) and had 2 beautiful girls to love and cherish, and that she did. She was a great wife, and a great mother. Cynthia devoted all of her time to her family, and was loved by many. Cindy was someone who’s presence was felt as soon as she was in a room. She was full  of life and full of laughter. Even after becoming ill, she never lost who she was, and remained faithful and positive and could make anyone laugh and smile. Her stories always could draw in anyone’s attention and make for a great time with family gathered around the table. Cindy struggled with many health issues later in life, and her strength and will was something to admire. She fought long and hard, until she was finally called home. She will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her, and more than anything by her two daughters whose mother was their entire world. As Cynthia passed yesterday, the heavens opened up and let down the rain, and there was a huge beautiful rainbow in the sky, just the same as when her own mother passed away. In our hearts we know, Cynthia Madero Leos was lifted up by the angels and received by the Lord himself at that very moment, and the heavens rejoiced as she reunited with her loved ones. While she leaves a void in all our hearts, we will see her again.

Thank you Lord for the time we spent with her.

Ms. Leos is survived by her two daughters, Mary Jannell Leos, and Rebecca Ann (Ralph) Almanza; her pet, "Coco"; her two brothers, Ernesto Madero Jr., Daniel (Terry) Madero; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
