ROBERT SALINAS

MCALLEN - Robert Salinas, 70, went to be with our Lord, Sunday September 16, 2018 in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Born in San Antonio, Texas and formerly of Hoffman Estates, Illinois, he had lived in McAllen for the past 3 years. Mr. Salinas was preceded in death by his parents, Baltimore and Rebecca Salinas; his brother, David Salinas. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Mr. Salinas is survived by his wife, Beatriz M. Salinas; his daughter, Bianca Salinas; three brothers, Baltimore, Jr., Rick and Eddie Salinas; two sisters, Linda Trujillo and Dolores Plocke; his aunt, Lydia Reyes; numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. with a 10:30 a.m. chapel service, Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Inurnment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen will full military honors.

Funeral services are under the direciton of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
