Edinburg- Phil Jay Belcher, born on July 27th 1947 in Storm Lake, Iowa to Paul and Evelyn Belcher, passed away on Wednesday, September 18th 2013 at his residence in Edinburg.
Mr. Belcher was a Combat Medic in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was formerly of Jefferson, Missouri before moving to the Rio Grande Valley in 2000. He worked as a security officer for six years.
He leaves behind his caring and devoted wife, Barbara J. Belcher, sons: Josh and Danny Belcher, a brother Gary (Irene) Belcher and one grandson.
Inurnment of Cremated remains will take place at ten o'clock in the morning on Tuesday, September 24th 2013 at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission with Full Military Honors.
Funeral Services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
