Maria Santos Uribe

Alton - Maria Santos Uribe, 86, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, August 2, 2018 in McAllen surrounded by her family. Born in Mexico she had lived in Alton most of her life. Mrs. Uribe is preceded in death by her husband, Cayetano Uribe and her son Sergio Uribe.

Mrs. Uribe is survived by her eleven children, Dora Eliva Uribe, Samuel (San Juana) Uribe, Onesimo Uribe, Marianela Uribe, Juan Ramon Uribe, Maria Soccorro (Jose) Villanueva, Dalia (Juan Carlos) Guerrero, Raul Uribe, Nelly Alanis, Jose (Arlen) Gracia and Claudia Gracia; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Arturo, Daniel and Ruben Gutierrez; six sisters, Lupe, Ambrosia, Alicia, Orfelinda, Elena and Juana Gutierrez; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2018 at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Garden of Angels Cemetery in Mission.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
