Obituary of Jose Santos Rodriguez

JOSE SANTOS RODRIGUEZ

PHARR - Jose Santos Rodriguez, 79, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, July 1, 2018 in Pharr surrounded by his family. Born in General Bravo, N.L., Mexico he had lived Pharr most of his life. Mr. Rodriguez is preceded in death by his wife, Paula Rodriguez; a grandson, Alan Alex Rodriguez; his sister Oralia Rivera.

Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by his nine children, Jose Guadalupe (Mirna) Rodriguez, Alma Sonia (Javier) Reyes, Maria De Jesus (Jose Luis) Aguilar, Carlos Cecilio (Luz Maria) Rodriguez, Idalia (Nader) Yekanizaree, Jose Santos (Alma) Rodriguez, Cecilio (Estela) Rodrguez, Claudia (Mike) Obregon and Gudelia Corona; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nine siblings, Rebeca (Jose) Ibarra, Rosa (Jose) Martinez, Francisca (Rafael) Matamoros, Antonia (Oscar) Rodriguez, Runulfa (Enrique Venegas) Rodriguez, Corina (Rene) Villarreal, Jesus (Connie) Rodriguez, Cecilio (Mary) Rodriguez and Rene (Gloria) Rodriguez; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 3 :00 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Entombment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
