Obituary of Terry James Moore

TERRY JAMES MOORE

MISSION - Terry Moore passed away June 26, 2018 in McAllen, Texas. Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Moore and Jeneva Fredricks; a sister Debra Moore. Terry and his family moved to Kalama in 1951. In 1997 he retired after 39 years with Longview Fibre Company. The next 9 years they traveled in their motor home before settling down in Mission, TX. He joined the Army Reserves while in high school, serving 8 years and receiving an honorable discharge in 1964. He was a member of the McAllen Elks Lodge #1402, the American Legion, and a Harley Motorcycle group called the ROMEO riders.

Terry leaves his wife of 59 years Margaret Phelps Moore; his daughter Tamara Palmer, Olympia, WA,; his son, Todd Moore of Kalama, WA.; four grandchildren, Jeff Moore, Jessica Larimore, Joel Palmer and Jennie Palmer; four great-grandchildren, Alisa and Olivia St. Louis, and Chloe and Charlie Moore; three sisters, Judy Henderson, White Salmon, WA, Kathie Warneke, Washougal, WA, and Bonita Windom, Battleground, WA; numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Funeral service are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
