Obituary of Santos Gonzalez

SANTOS GONZALEZ 

SAN JUAN - Santos Gonzalez, 98, went to be with our Lord, Friday, May 11, 2018, in San Juan surrounded by her family. Born in China, N.L., Mexico and formerly of Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico, she had lived in San Juan for the past 15 years. Ms. Gonzalez was a member of Iglesia Del Valle in San Juan. Ms. Gonzalez is preceded in death by husband, Maximo Uvalle; her parents, Isidro and Andrea Gonzalez; four brothers, Juan, Andres, Luz, and Mage Gonzalez; her sister, Rosa Rodriguez.

Ms. Gonzalez is survived by her five children, Martin (Lucy) Uvalle, Maurilio (Maria) Uvalle, Margarita (Jesus) Salazar, Mario (Sonia) Uvalle, and Maximino (Mari) Uvalle; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; her brother, Eusebio Gonzalez; two sisters, Genoveva Martinez, and Guadalupe Gonzalez.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Monday, May 14, 2018, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd, in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Iglesia Del Valle in San Juan. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
