Obituary of Aurora Ochoa

AURORA OCHOA

EDINBURG - Aurora Ochoa, 87, was called home by our Father in heaven, Friday, April 6, 2018, in Edinburg surrounded by her loving and devoted daughter. Ms. Ochoa was born and raised in Edinburg. Ms. Ochoa is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Encarnacion and Francisca Salinas Ochoa; her sister, Juanita Bochas; her brother-in-law, Andres Castellano; and her nephew, Xavier Castellano.

Ms. Ochoa is survived by her daughter, Diana Ruelas (Harold) Mason; three grandchildren, Tamra (Charles) Hilborn, Michael (Janese) W. Mason, and Garrett L. Mason; four great-grandchildren, Foster Hilborn, Levi Hilborn, Tripp Carlson, and Landon Mason; three siblings, Jose Alejandro (Irma) Ochoa, Sofia Castellano, and Alberto (Yolanda) Ochoa; numerous nieces and nephews.

Ms. Ochoa was blessed by her sweet Angel, Cathy Ochoa, who demonstrated her love and affection throughout the years.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2018, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg.
