Obituary of Faustino G. Uribe

FAUSTINO G. URIBE

PHARR - Faustino G. Uribe, 68, went to be with our Lord, Friday, March 30, 2018, in McAllen surrounded by his family. Born in Troy, Texas, he had lived in Pharr most of his life. Mr. Uribe enjoyed barbecuing, fishing, and watching his Dallas Cowboys play. Faustino is preceded in death by his parents, Prudencio and Maria Anita Uribe; a brother, Arnulfo Uribe; three sisters, Lydia Meave, Gloria Chavez, and Aurora Sanchez.

Mr. Uribe is survived by his wife, Ninfa Uribe; five children, Sandra (Horacio) Cobos, Diana (David) Solis, Ernan Uribe, Faustino Uribe Jr., and David (Adriana) Uribe; six grandchildren; two sisters, Eva Garza, and Elva Salinas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, April 2, 2018, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Celebration of Life Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Hidalgo City Cemetery. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
