Obituary of Sylvia Suarez

McAllen, Texas

Sylvia Suarez entered etrenal rest on Saturday March 17, 2018 surrounded by her family at her residence in McAllen at the age of 61. Sylvia was born on Nov.5, 1956 in Pharr, Texas to Florentino and Maria Carmen De La Garza. Sylvia was a resident of McAllen for most of her life. She enjoyed traveling to many areas of the U.S. visiting as many gambling casinos as possible. She loved to listen and dance to Tejano music. Sylvia lived life to its fullest. She was a loving wife,daughter,mother,grandmother,sister, and friend who will be dearly missed by all that came to know her. 

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Mr. Luis Suarez, her children Eutimio Cantu Jr., Priscilla Celina suarez, Luis Armando Suarez Jr., Melissa Suarez,Jessica Suarez, seven Grandchildren, siblings Ramiro and Robert De La Garza, Juanita Martinez and Ninfa Uribe.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Monday March 19, 2018 at Legacy Chapels,4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday March 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St.John the Baptist Catholic Church in San Juan. Interment will follow to San Juan City cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are being hanlded by Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
