Obituary of Ernesto Rocha

ERNESTO ROCHA

EDINBURG - Ernesto Rocha, 71, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, March 15, 2018, in McAllen surrounded by his family. Born in Rio Grande City, Texas, he had lived in Edinburg most of his life. Mr. Rocha is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Andrea Rocha; four sisters, Juana R. Gonzalez, Luisa R. Vargas, Maria Zulema R. Muñoz, and Josefina R. Mungia; two brothers, Luz, and Domingo Rocha.

Mr. Rocha is survived by his wife, Maria De La Luz "Lulu" Rocha; six children, Laura Ramos, Cynthia Rocha, Melissa (Ignacio) De La Cruz, Ernesto "Ernie" Rocha Jr., Rogerio "Roger" Rocha, and Andrea (Ignacio) Martinez; ten grandchildren, Priscilla, Kassandra, Kiara, Abel Jr., Juliana, Criselda, Carissa, Ernesto III, Ignacio Jr., and Ivy May; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Feliciana R. Cruz, Elida R. Garza, and Santos R. Fuentes; a brother, Margarito Rocha; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Legacy Chaples 4610 S. Jackson Rd, in Edinburg. Cremation will follow.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
