Obituary of Isidro Chavez

ISIDRO CHAVEZ

PHARR - Isidro Chavez, 87, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, March 6, 2018, in Weslaco. Born in Tepehuanes, Durango, Mexico, he had lived in Pharr most of his life. Mr. Chavez is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Guadalupe Chavez; his parents, Marcelino and Maria Chavez; three brothers, Juan, Leonardo, and Miguel Chavez; two sisters, Ramona, and Corina Chavez.

Mr. Chavez is survived by his two children, Miguel (Noemi) Chavez and Christina (Arturo) Barron; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Chapel service wil be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2018, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
