Obituary of Francisco Zuniga

FRANCISCO ZUNIGA

EDINBURG - Francisco Zuniga, 95, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, February 21, 2018, in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Born in Español, Gto., Mexico, he had lived in Chamacuaro, Gto., Mexico most of his life. Mr. Zuniga is preceded in death by his wife, Eustacia Meza; four sons, Ismael, Sipriano, Roberto, and Carlos Zuniga; a daughter, Guadalupe Zuniga.

Mr. Zuniga is survived by six children; Alicia (Feliberto) Carrillo, Marta Perez, Alicia Zuniga, Josefina (Domingo) Rodriguez, Maria De Jesus (Efrain) Cardona, Eustacia (John) Zuniga; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jose, and Aurelio Zuniga; a sister, Catalina Zuniga; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celeberated at 10 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
