Obituary of Roberto Gutierrez

Edinburg- Roberto Gutierrez, Jr., passed away on June 9th 2013 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville. He was born to Roberto Sr., and Olivia Gutierrez on February 15th 1953 in Pharr, Texas. He is preceded in death by parents, and his brother Ricardo Gutierrez. He is survived by his children; Carlos Noe Gutierrez (Sylvia), Roberto Gutierrez III,(Marisol), Amanda Lizette Gutierrez and Omar Gutierrez (Abby). He is also survived by his siblings, Alejandro Gutierrez, Rosa Elvira Gutierrez, Ana Hilda Gutierrez, Maria Isabel Garcia, Maria de los Angeles Quintero, Olivia Gutierrez, Jose Enrique Gutierrez, Leonel Gutierrez, Norma Gutierrez and seven grandchildren. Robert served his Country in the Unites States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Nam Conflict. Upon returning to the Valley, he worked with various Law Enforcement agencies including, the Elsa Police Department, Mercedes Police Department, Hidalgo County Constables - Precinct 5 , and Southwestern Security Services. Graveside Service will be at 10:00am today, June 14, 2013 at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission with Full Military Honors. Funeral Services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
