Obituary of Felix Martinez

Mr. Felix Martinez,74, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, surrounded by his family in Edinburg. Mr. Martinez was born on March 6, 1944, in Combs, Texas, and had lived in Edinburg most of his life. Felix is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Anita Gonzalez.

Felix is survived by his companion Carmela Olivas; his children, Julie Gaucin, Mario Rodriguez, Felix Martinez Jr., Jose Manuel Martinez, Eduardo Martinez, and Jorge H. Galvan; siblings, Victor Martinez, Margarita Martinez, Reyes Gonzalez, Rolando Mora, Merejildo Martinez and Virginia Martinez; numerous grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a 4 p.m. rosary on Friday, January 26, 2018, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd. in Edinburg. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday January 27, 2018, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr, TX. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
