Obituary of Modesta Villalobos

Modesta Villalobos, 78, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018, at Las Palmas Healthcare Center. Ms. Villalobos was born in Mercedes, Texas, on February 24, 1939, to Geronimo and Modesta Villalobos and was a resident of Pharr for most of her life. Ms. Villalobos is preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Antonio Villalobos, Matias Villalobos, Tomas Villalobos,Sotero Villalobos and Guadalupe Cantu. Left to cherish her memory are two siblings: Angelina Garza and Antonio Villalobos; numerous loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday January 15, 2018 at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
