Obituary of Francisco Rendon

FRANCISCO RENDON

PHARR - Francisco Rendon, 98, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, January 18, 2018, in McAllen. Born in Los Herreras N.L., Mexico, he had lived in Pharr most of his life. Mr. Rendon was a retired Master Electrician. He is preceded in death by his wife, Tomasa Rendon; two daughters, Minerva Rendon, and Minerva Solis; a grandson, Michael Arevalo; his parents, Felipe and Isabel Rendon; two brothers, Jose, and Felipe Rendon; two sisters, Minerva, and Aurora Rendon; a son-in-law Silverio Sosa Jr.

Mr. Rendon is survived by his eleven children, Rosalinda Sosa, Isabel (Louis) Cabrerra, Ana Maria (Danny) Arevalo, Francisco Rendon Jr., Mario Alberto (Janie) Rendon, Oscar Rendon, Rene Rendon, Jose Arturo (Amanda) Rendon, San Juanita Rendon, Armando Rendon, Sandra (Arturo) Elizondo; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gregorio, and Hector Rendon; a sister, Viola Rendon; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m to 9 pm. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a 5 p.m. rosary, Friday, January 19, 2018, at Legacy Chapels. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
