Obituary of Ryan Hector Ramos

RYAN HECTOR RAMOS

MCALLEN - Ryan Hector Ramos, 28, of McAllen passed away January 8, 2018, at MD Anderson in Houston, Tx., after a five-month battle of testicular cancer. Ryan was born on February 1, 1989. He attended Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School and graduated from McAllen High School in 2007. He also attended the University of Texas Pan-American and the University of Washington. Though he was with us for a short time, he made an impact on everyone he met. Ryan was happiest while playing his guitar, writing and singing songs, and eating. Ryan was a food fanatic of all cuisines with a large appetite to match. He often listened to music, was an avid reader, and collector of comic books. Ryan had a great time working out and playing or designing games. He will be remembered for his uncanny ability to reach people with his positivity and goofiness. Ryan loved to make people happy and laugh as much as he could.

His memory will be carried on by his loving girlfriend Riley Loesche and best friend Michael Loesche; his mother, Maggie Ramos; father and stepmother, Hector and Yvette Ramos; paternal grandparents; Zaragoza and Martha Ramos; sisters; Katherine Ramos, Kristen Ramos; stepsister, Yazmeen Sahadi; stepbrother, Stefan Sahadi. He is loved by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and will deeply be missed by his many close friends.

Family will receive friends at 5 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service at 6 p.m., followed by a reception on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg.
