GABINO BRAVO
SAN JUAN - Gabino Bravo, 85, went to be with our Lord, Monday, December 11, 2017, in Edinburg. Born in Rio Bravo, Tamps., Mexico and formerly of Madera, California he had lived in San Juan for the past 3 years. Mr. Bravo is preceded in death by his son, Oscar Bravo; former spouse, Pomposa Cantu Bravo; his parents, Felix and Josefa Bravo; three brothers, Nicholas, Eliodoro, and Guadalupe Bravo; two sisters, Dolores B. Maldonado and Maria De Los Angeles Alvarado.
Mr. Bravo is survived by his wife, Gloria Bravo; three sons, Gavin Bravo, John (Theresa) Bravo, and Jesse (Melissa) Bravo; three daughters, Olga Zuniga, Rachel (Jose) Ayala, and Susana Bravo; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four step-children, Linda, Pedro, Thelma, and Ninfa; a brother, Felix Bravo Jr.; two sisters, Francisca B. Muñoz and Rosalinda B. Gutierrez; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m to 9 p.m. Thursday, December 14, 2017, and Friday, December 15, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a 5 p.m. rosary, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2017, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
