BALDOMERA "MERITA" RODRIGUEZ

EDINBURG - Baldomera "Merita" Rodriguez, 91, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, December 3, 2017, in Mercedes surrounded by her family. Born in Los Ramones, N.L., Mexico she had lived in Edinburg most of her life. Mrs. Rodriguez is preceded in death by her parents, Margarito and Tomasita S. Peña; three brothers, Roman Peña, Domingo Peña and Jesus Peña; a sister, Crisanta Hernandez. 

Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her husband, Fidencio Rodriguez; five brothers, Venustiano Peña, Felipe Peña, Santos Peña, Pedro Peña, and Acención Peña; two sisters, Eduarda P. Martinez, Elva P. Moya; numerous nieces, nephews.

Visitiation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Monday, December 4, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Garden of Angels Cemetery in Mission. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
