Obituary of Rose Mary Cardenas

ROSE MARY CARDENAS

MCALLEN - Rose Mary Cardenas, 88, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, November 28, 2017, in McAllen. Born in Brownsville and formerly of Edinburg she had lived in McAllen for the past 17 years. Mrs. Cardenas is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Cardenas; parents, Marion and Pilar Hon; two brothers, Bobby and Eddie Hon; four sisters, Ann Adams, Alice Ramon, Sarah Rivera and Emily Dennany.

Mrs. Cardenas is survived by her three children, Norma Cardenas, Jesse (Virginia) Cardenas and Sylvia A. Ripley; four grandchildren, Amanda, Roxanna, Gina and Rylei; two sisters, Pauline Campagna and Sister Mary Paul Hon; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Interment of her cremated remains will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in McAllen.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
