Obituary of Rodolfo Navarro
RODOLFO NAVARRO
EDINBURG - Rodolfo Navarro, 91, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, November 22, 2017, in Edinburg surrounded by his family. He had lived in Misson most of his life and in Edinburg for the past 10 years. Mr. Navarro was a US Army Veteran having served in WWII and the Korean Conflict. A Purple Heart Medal recipiant, Mr. Navarro was a true defender of his Country. Rodolfo is preceded in death by his parents, Andres and Anastacia Navarro; 12 siblings.
Mr. Navarro is survived by his wife, Guadalupe R. Navarro; his daughter, Maribel Navarro (Macario) Saenz; a brother, Andres (Dora) Navarro; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary conducted by ACTS membership/men's Choir from St. Paul's Catholic Church, Monday, November 27, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission with full Military Honors. Pallbearers will be Lupe Gonzalez, Louis Navarro, Daniel Saenz, Jose Saenz, Pedro Marroquin, and Javier Rodriguez. Honorary Pallbearers Justo Gonzalez, Francisco Saenz Jr., and Javier Gonzalez.
Funeral services are under the direciton of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
