ELADIO E. PRUNEDA

PHARR - Eladio E. Pruneda, 92, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, November 22, 2017, in McAllen surrounded by his family. Born in Los Ramones, N.L., Mexico he had lived in Pharr most of his life. Mr. Pruneda was preceded in death by his parents, Viviano and Leocadia Pruneda; a son-in-law Eduardo Maciel; three brothers, Leopoldo, Cosme and Hipolito Pruneda; four sisters, Paulita Guerra, Silvestra Garza, Bruna Rodriguez and Teresa Rodriguez.

Mr. Pruneda is survived by his wife, Juanita G. Pruneda; eleven children; Antonia (Edilberto) Montemayor, Juan A. (Francisca) Pruneda, Abelardo (Elizabeth) Pruneda, Araceli (Juan A.) Gonzalez, Adelina (Abiel) Saenz, Aleida (Eden) Ramirez, Viviano (Abby) Pruneda, Polly (André) LéDe, Larry (Elizabeth) Pruneda, Janie Maciel and Felipe (Lety) Pruneda; 33 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; eight siblings, Reyes, Isreal, Leobardo, Roberto, Eusebio, Celia, Carlos and Rosendo

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a 5 p.m. rosary, Friday, November 24, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Interment will take place at Panteon Dolores in Repueblo De Oriente, N.L., Mexico.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
