MARIA ESTHELA GONZALEZ

EDINBURG - Maria Esthela Gonzalez, 85, went to be with our Lord, Monday, November 13, 2017, in McAllen surrounded by her family. Born and raised in Cerralvo, N.L., Mexico she had lived in the Rio Grande Valley most of her life. Mrs. Gonzalez is preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso Gonzalez; her parents, Abundio and Maria Ignacia Quintanilla; four brothers, Amadeo, Ovidieo, Oscar and Abundio Quintanilla Jr.; a sister, Francisca Quintanilla.

Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her two daughters, Mirna Araceli Gonzalez and Isela (Gabriel) Arteaga; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a 4 p.m. rosary, Friday, November 17, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
