Obituary of Maria A. Jimenez

Edinburg, Texas

Maria A. Jimenez passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017 in Edinburg at the age of 85. She was born on May 5,1932 in Mexico to Antonio and Leonor Martinez. Maria was a long time resident of Edinburg and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents , her husband Isabel Jimenez and other family members. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Eduardo (Gilma Garza) Jimenez, Jose (Florencia) Jimenez, Sara (+ Francisco) Lozano, Juan Manuel ( Ninfa) Jimenez, also her sister Carmelita Martinez ,14 grandchildren and numerous of great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Sunday, October15, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Legacy Chapels,4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg. Funeral mass will take place on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Edinburg with burial to follow to Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.
