Obituary of Reyes Guzman

Mr. Reyes Guzman, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 23, 2017 in Weslaco.

Reyes was born on January 6, 1942 in Mercedes, Texas to Jose and Carlota Guzman. Reyes was a long time resident of Weslaco. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 55 years, Maria Irma Guzman; his Children, Diana (Christopher) Herrera, Belinda (Larry) Browning, Bernaida (Noel) Govea, Rodolfo (Marisela) Guzman, Irene (Fred) Gonzalez, Rey Juan (Sylvia) Guzman, Lori Guzman; four brothers; one sister; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer services, Monday, September 25, 2017 at Legacy Chapels, 4610 S. Jackson Rd. in Edinburg. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at The First Baptist Church located in 600 S. Kansas in Weslaco at 2:00 PM. Internment will follow to Highland Memorial Cemetery in Weslaco.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
