Rosario Escobar Rodas,77, passed away on Thursday July 13, 2017 at her home in McAllen surrounded by her family. Rosario was born on Dec.4, 1939 in Mexico to Angel Escobar and Josefina Rodas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Mr. Pedro Chang Santos, her children Pedro Chang Escobar (Ivonne), Maria Elizabeth Chang Escobar, Norma Beatriz Chang Escobar (Raymundo), Marconi Chang Escobar (Maricela), her grandchildren Pedro Antonio Gutierrez Chang, Pedro Mauricio Chang Chong, Selma Bora Chang, Monica Valeria Gutierrez Chang, Gabriel Chang Chong, Megan Chang Hernandez, and Marconi Chang Hernandez. Also her siblings Amelia Escobar Rodas, Jorge Escobar Rodas, Humberto Escobar Rodas, and Amable Escobar Rodas.
Visitation will be Saturday July 15,2017 at Legacy Chapels,4610 S. Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
