IRMA ESTELLA GONZALEZ EDINBURG - Irma Estella Gonzalez, 47, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, May 14, 2017, in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas she had lived in Edinburg most of her life. Mrs. Gonzalez was preceded in death by her parents, Noe and Veronica Jimenez; two brothers, Luis and Mario Jimenez; two sisters, Veronica Gutierrez and Cristina Perez. She devoted most of her time to her family, friends, and church. She was giving, loving, charismatic, and cared deeply about everyone including her patients at Dr. Jaime Hernandez, and Omar Gomez, from where she worked for 12 years. The memories, and impact she left will last a lifetime. Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her husband, Guadalupe E. Gonzalez; two daughters, Maritza Marquez and Thania Gonzalez; a son, Gabriel Marquez; three brothers, Noe, Antonio and Rolando Jimenez; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Viewing will begin at 9 a.m. with a 4 p.m. chapel service Friday, May 19, 2017, at Legacy Chapels. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
