MANUEL GARCIA EDCOUCH - Manuel Garcia, 78, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, May 6, 2017, in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Born in Mexico and formerly of Alamo, Mr. Garcia had lived in Edcouch. Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Guadalupe Garcia; a son, Abelardo Garcia; his parents, Jose and Eulalia Garcia; two brothers, Guadalupe Garcia and Juan Garcia; a sister, Clarita Garcia. Mr. Garcia is survived by his three children, Renato (Maria Guadalupe) Garcia, Maria A. Garcia and Maria De Los Angeles (Cruz Flores) Garcia Garza; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; four brothers, Agapito Garcia, Atadeo Garcia, Francisco Garcia and Jose Garcia; two sisters, Maria Garcia and Concepcion Garcia. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Monday, May 8, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
