Obituary of Antonio Perales Ortiz

McAllen, Texas Antonio Perales Ortiz,67, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday March 29, 2017 in McAllen. "Tońo" as he was lovingly known by his family and friends, was born on January 1, 1950 to Antonio G. Perales and Juanita Sanchez. He was a life long resident of McAllen. "Tońo" loved to help people out in every way possible. He was known to be a big jokester. He was a very talanted singer,writer, and actor. He appeared in five Mexican movies with such stars as the Almada Brothers, Sergio Goyri, Flaco Guzman, Rafael Inclan and many other famous stars. As a singer he participated in Mexican Palenques with Lucha Villa , Los Atomicos de Monterrey and also would make appearances in Velada Norteńa. One of his greatest passions, next to his kids and grandkids being born, was that he would love to sing to the fullest. He was a faithful and dedicated employee with Materiales El Valle for 30 years. "Tońo" enjoyed and lived life to its fullest. He will be dearly missed by his family,friends, co-workers and those that came to know and love him. ES TOŃO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Mirthala Perales. Left to cherish his memory are his children; Maritza Perales-Cruz (Julio), son Erik Perales (Veronica), Jeanny Prieto (Alejandro) and Mauricio Perales. His loving grandkids Julio Emiliano, Esmeralda, and Leila Cruz; Erik, Michael and Keilah Perales; Charlize,Aileen and Matheo. Also his brothers; Jose Perales and Francisco Sanchez. Visitation will be on Saturday April 1, 2017 at Legacy Chapels,4610 S. Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 3:00 pm to 10:30 pm with a rosary at 7:00 PM. Cremation service will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements are being directed by Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
