Obituary of Antonio Vallejo

ANTONIO "TONY" VALLEJO EDINBURG - Antonio "Tony" Vallejo, 64, went to be with our Lord, Monday, March 27, 2017, in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Born in Bryan, Texas and previously from Donna he had lived in Edinburg most of his life. Mr. Vallejo was a barber all of his life and owned Star's Barber Shop in Edinburg. He enjoyed music and loved to play his guitar. Mr. Vallejo was preceded in death by his parents, Herminio and Maria Vallejo; a sister, Lupe Vallejo; five brothers, Ernie, John, Roy, Richard and Hermino Vallejo Jr. Mr. Vallejo is survived by his wife, Brenda Kay Vallejo; five children, Jennifer Vallejo, Antonio (Marol) Vallejo III, Andrew S. Vallejo, Crystal (Jorge) Loredo and Sophia Vallejo; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Ruben and Robert Vallejo; three sisters, Lydia Vallejo, Lupe Rodriguez and Lisa Vallejo; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
