EUTIMIO DE LA ROSA EDINBURG - Eutimio De La Rosa, 72, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, March 21, 2017, in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Mr. De La Rosa is preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso and Isabel De La Rosa. Mr. De La Rosa is survived by his wife, Maria De La Rosa; four children, Eduardo (Adrienne) De La Rosa, Ernesto (Yanet) De La Rosa, Marissa (Martin) Turrubiates and Enrique (Brenda) De La Rosa; 13 grandchildren; four brothers, Crisanto (Delfina), Cipriano (Alma), Alfredo and Alfonso (Anna) De La Rosa Jr; five sisters, Elvia De La Rosa, Olga De La Rosa, Delia (Beto) Herrera, Gloria De La Rosa and Dominga Ureste; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission with full military honors. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
