EMMA GARAY DE GONZALEZ
MCALLEN - Emma Garay De Gonzalez, 82, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, February 28, 2017, in McAllen surrounded by her family. Born in Lampazos, N.L., Mexico and formerly of Monterrey, N.L., Mexico she had live most of her life in Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Gonzalez; her parents, Arturo and Camila Garay; a sister, Nora Gonzalez.
Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her children, Elizabeth (George) Claudio, Teresa (Cesar) Martinez, Arthur (Loretta) Gonzalez and Camelia Martinez; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Enrique (Maria Elena) Garay; four sisters, Patria Cardenas, Perla Verastegui, Berta Rodriguez and Lupita (Francisco) Gomez; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. with a 4 p.m. Celebration of Life Service Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
