Obituary of Santos Hernandez

Edinburg, Texas Mr. Santos Hernandez,76, went to be with our Lord on Saturday February 4, 2017 in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Santos was born on July 22,1940 in Mexico to Gilberto and Maria Hernandez. Formally of Michigan he was a resident of Edinburg since 2005. He was preceded in death by his parents his sons Martin and Rogelio Hernandez and a brother Francisco Hernandez. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Maria C. Hernandez; sons and daughters Silvia (Ramiro) Rojas, Rigoberto (Martha) Hernandez, Santos (Santa) Hernandez, Sonia (Jason) Walker, Martin (Anna) Hernandez and step children Liliana (Edgar) Salinas, Norma Garcia (Richard) Kochler, Baldemar (Leila) Garcia, Mary Garcia and the children of Mary C. Rios which are; Vincent Inosencio (Karen), Rose Inosencio, Anita Inosencio, Joseph Rios (Romana), Ondina Maria Perales (Alfredo), Maurilio Rios Jr. (Cindy); Brothers and Sisters- Gilberto,Alicia, Armando, Elida, Herminia, Ester, Jose Cruz, Estela, Enedina and Linda; also 23 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and numerous of nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Tuesday February 7, 2017 at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recital of the rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 8, 2017 at Legacy Chapels at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow to Val Verde Cemetery in Donna. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
