I am so saddened by Edward's passing. I still remember him as a student and as a pianist. He volunteered in 1983 to play for the EE production of Godspell. No pay -- just a favor. He would open the piano score before the show began and remind himself of the number or repeats in "Day by Day," then close the book and play the entire score from somewhere inside his musical genius. What gifts he had and what a generous and kind heart. Our last conversation was me asking him for some advice about sound. He was, as always, kind, generous and helpful. He was a wonderful man. Condolences to the entire Arguelles family.

Mr. Arguelles was my choir director all through middle school. His passion for music was passed on to all of the students he taught. He will be greatly missed. May our Lord bless you and comfort you during this difficult time. Please know I am praying for each one of you and for Edward. May he be singing again in Heaven's choir. May the love of our Lord wrap him up and give him love, joy, and peace. As a friend, I was witness to Ed's incredible talent from the time he was a young man. I, like many others, always thought of him as the best, but more than any if his exceptional qualities, Ed was a very good man. His goodness was admirable. May God's perpetual light shine upon him.
