Mission
Mr. Arthur Kenneth Brown,91, passed away on Monday January 16, 2017 at the Alfredo Gonzalez State Veterans Nursing Center in McAllen. Arthur was born on March 9, 1925 in Springfield, Illinois to Arthur Kenneth Brown and Elsie Brown. Arthur was a World War II veteran where he proudly served with the U.S Navy.
He was a resident of the Heritage Square community in Mission since 1991.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Pearl Brown, two sons David and Steven Brown and a granddaughter Dawn Price.
Arthur is survived by his daughters; Kim Dillon, Barbara Baker, and Sharon McGhay Bivens, 16 grandchildren,
24 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren
A memorial service will be held on Friday January 20, 2017 at the Heritage Square Community Room, 301 South Bryan Rd. in Mission from noon to 2:00 pm.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
