Lory Ann Torres, 34 formerly of McAllen, passed away on January 29th 2013 at her residence in Houston. She was born on March 21st 1978 in San Juan, Texas to George I. Torres and Maria M. Garza. Lory was a 1997 graduate of Hidalgo High School.
She leaves behind her partner of ten years, Sandra Garza of McAllen, Texas; her father George I. Torres (Norma) of Hidalgo, her mother Maria M. Garza of Houston, her siblings; George Torres, Erica Torres, Eddie Casanova, Sally Casanova and Michael Casanova. Lory is also survived by an aunt, Maribelle Torres, her Grandfather Jorge Torres, and Grandmother Ignacia Garza.
Family will receive friends on Friday, February 1st 2013 between the hours of five o'clock and nine o'clock in the evening at Legacy Chapels, 4610 S. Jackson Road, Edinburg, Texas. A rosary will be prayed at seven o'clock in the evening and will be available online at www.legacychapelsrgv.com
A Chapel Service will be at ten o'clock in the morning on Saturday, February 2nd 2013 at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hidalgo City Cemetery in Hidalgo. Funeral Services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
