VELIA ARALI CARILU MARTINEZ
PHARR - Velia Arali Carilu Martinez, 50, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, December 28, 2016, in McAllen surrounded by her family. Born in Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico and formerly of San Juan she had lived in Pharr most of her life. Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by a son, Jose Antonio Martinez. Velia was a member of Templo Biblico Palabra Viviente in San Juan.
Mrs. Martinez is survived by her children, Ana Kereen (Juan Carlos) Yanez, Jose Eduardo Martinez; three grandchildren, Ana Lu, Juan Carlos Jr. and Sofia Daniela; her parents, Arturo and Velia Cazares; four brothers, Ernesto, Arturo, Cesar and Jesus; three sisters, Norma, Telma and Libertad.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Thursday, December 29, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2016, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
