MARIA ROSA RODRIGUEZ PHARR - Mrs. Maria Rosa Rodriguez, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at her residence in Pharr surrounded by her family. She was born on June 23, 1938, in China, N.L. Mexico to Donaciano and Pascuala Vazquez. She had lived in Pharr for most of her life. She is survived by her husband Jesus Rodriguez; her children, Guadalupe Rodriguez Vazquez (Sofia Sanchez), Hector Rodriguez Vazquez (Maria Dolores Salinas), Jesus Rodriguez Vazquez (Yolanda Estrada), Maria Concepcion Rodriguez Vazquez (Miguel Angel Cadena), Yolanda Rodriguez Vazquez (Efrain Cantu), Luis Alberto Rodriguez Vazquez (Blanca Guevara), Maria De Los Angeles Rodriguez Vazquez (Jesus Mauricio Cantu), Rosa Idalia Rodriguez Vazquez (Jose Santos Perez), Alma Leticia Rodriguez Vaszquez, Cesar Alejandro Rodriguez Vazquez (Esmeralda Gonzalez), Graciela Rodriguez Vazquez ( Luis Garza); seven brothers, Donato Vazquez Hernandez, Gamaliel, Nemorio, Francisco, David, Enrique and Igancio Gonzalez; a sister, Elivia Gonzalez; 34 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd. in Edinburg. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow to Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
