Obituary of Feliciano Garza

FELICIANO GARZA EDINBURG - Feliciano Garza, 56, passed away to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 3, 2016, in McAllen Medical Center surrounded by his family. Feliciano also known as "Smiley" is survived by his loving wife, Norfelia (Norfy) Garza, and adoring son, Feliciano Smiley Garza, Jr.; and his parents, Roberto and Elida G. Garza; two sisters, Sylvia Trejo, Nora Garza-Trejo (Domingo), niece Sally Renae Trejo; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was born in Edinburg, raised in California and in his youth lived in Elsa. He later moved to Edinburg where he lived for the past 34 years. Feliciano loved life, to make people smile, laugh and would give the shirt off his back to help. He had a passion for automotives (formerly taught at TSTC; now known as STC) and racing his 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang. Psalm 23: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want........ Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. The family is forever grateful for the care, love, dedication and commitment that Dr. Luis F. Arango and staff provided throughout the last 28 years and we are blessed that Dr. Arango came into our lives and considered family. Our sincere gratitude to Hospice Compassionate Care Services, LLC for the compassion, care and spiritual healing provided and in making Feliciano's 56th birthday forever memorable and to the numerous folks that came into our lives! Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service at 6 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Reception will follow the service. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. In lieu of flowers; family kindly recommends donations be sent to Hospice Compassionate Care Services, LLC.
