Gustavo Salinas Jr. Edinburg - Gustavo Salinas Jr., 70, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, November 8, 2016, in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Mr. Salinas is preceded in death by his parents, Gustavo and Emma Jean Salinas; a brother, Rodrigo Salinas; a granddaughter, Josaline L. Cavazos. Mr. Salinas is survived by his children, Mandy Pape, Christine A. Salinas (Eligio De La Rosa), Elizabeth (Earl) Sadewasser, Alexandria A. Edwards, Kethsaly J. Salinas, Immanuel E. (Jennifer) Salinas, Melchizedek J. (Samantha) Salinas, Norma L. (Edmundo) Mendez, Nancy L. Cavazos, Armando J. Cavazos and Noemi L. Cavazos; 19 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; Step-Mother, Socorro Salinas; five sisters, Maria Esther Regalado, Emma Jean Canales, Enedina Rodriguez, Irma Lopez and Imelda Calvillo; nine brothers, Hector, Jose Luis, Casimiro, Efrain, Apolonio, Teofilo, Elias, Emilio and Eloy Salinas; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. with a 2 p.m. rosary and 4 p.m. chapel service Friday, November 11, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Cremation will follow at a later date. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
